The Original Green Knob simply disconnects your battery to prevent theft--and battery drain. It's a simple, effective way to make sure your stored vehicle has the juice it needs to start when you need it.

Newer cars have radio station presets, computer brains and car alarms that need a small amount of current at all times. That's where the Fused Green Knob comes in. It has a fused bypass wire that allows low-amperage devices to continue operating when you remove the Green Knob. If a thief tries to start the car, the starter's extra current will simply blow the fuse. You can remove the fuse to prevent battery drain for long-term storage.
