Spend enough hours in a car, and it doesn’t matter what car it is – you’re going to start to get a tad stiff and uncomfortable. If you’re not driving and you want to rest, you’re going to find it awkward to lean your head against a window or door panel. You need something to put some padding between you and hard, unforgiving surfaces, and to isolate your head from the vibration and noise of the road! - Lumbar Support – Your lower back is one of the areas that suffers most on a long trip. Most newer cars have adjustable lumbar support built into the seat backs (at least for the driver’s seat), but a foam- or gel-core lumbar support pillow can help your posture and keep your spine in the right position to ward off stiffness and fatigue.
- Massage Cushions – How about a cushion that doesn’t stop at giving your back the support it needs, but actually gives you a shiatsu-style massage as well? Choose your own style of massage and level of intensity – some models even include pain-relieving, relaxing heat.
- Sheepskin Seat Pads – If you ever sat on a sheepskin seat pad or seat cover for very long, you know that they can make about any seat more comfortable. Our sheepskin seat pads come from the same top-grade sheep pelts as our sheepskin seat covers, meaning a 7/8” to 1” deep nap and inviting, luxurious comfort that you can easily take from your car seat to your office chair.
- Swivel Cushions – It can be difficult to get out of a low-profile car, especially after hours behind the wheel. A swivel cushion makes that a little easier, with a slick fabric that allows you to pivot to one side while the non-skid base of the cushion keeps it firmly in place.
So – choose from various styles, fabrics, and price ranges (and materials like memory foam or gel), and we’re sure you’ll find a seat cushion that will be a good fit for you!
