It also employs a weatherproof seal, between the frame and glass, to keep the elements at bay. There's even a special tool (included) that makes it easy for you to change registration stickers, but makes life difficult for would-be thieves.

Note: Some state and local laws prohibit the use of plastic or Lexan license plate shields. The clear lens shield is an integral part of this plate cover and cannot be removed. Please be aware of the laws in your state or municipality before ordering.
