So…you’re not the kind of mechanic who can do can do an engine rebuild or transmission swap, but you’re not afraid to get under the hood and get a little dirty doing your own maintenance and minor repairs. That’s great! Why pay a mechanic or a garage for stuff you can do yourself? We’ve got some great garage gear that can help make life a little easier for you. - Battery Chargers – They’ve been around for a long time, but like a lot of other things, battery chargers have improved and evolved with technology. They’re now easier and safer to use, with circuits that prevent overcharging and keep a battery in maintenance mode for long-term charge.
- Battery Tenders – Got a car that doesn’t get driven much, or is in long-term storage? A battery tender is designed to maintain a charge in the battery for the long run (and can completely recharge a totally discharged battery in 1-2 days). Battery tenders plug into a wall outlet, and feature a safety guard to eliminate the danger of hooking up to the battery with polarity reversed.
- Garage Floor Mats – Got a leaker? A car or truck that’s leaving a puddle underneath, but not bad enough to get under there and change gaskets or main seals? An absorbent garage floor mat can soak up gas, transmission fluid, motor oil or fuel without bleeding through and staining your garage floor.
- Garage Door Products – If you spend any amount of time in the garage and have a gap at the top or bottom, visualize dollar bills flying through that gap in the form of lost heating or cooling! We stock garage insulation and seals that can give you a tight, energy-efficient garage (and keep small insects and critters outside where they belong).
