Even if a car emergency doesn’t happen to you (and we hope it never does), you might eventually find yourself first on the scene of an accident. Don’t be unprepared, should things ever come to that! - Car Flashlights – If there’s one thing that you really need in your car’s emergency kit, it’s a dependable, bright flashlight. LED flashlights are brighter and longer-lasting than old-style incandescent bulbs, and we stock several styles, including a rechargeable heavy-duty aluminum model that can be used to break glass in an emergency.
- Life Hammer – The product of German design, the Life Hammer is an EMS-style tool that could literally be a lifesaver. It’s equipped with a sharp hooked end to slice through the webbing of a jammed seatbelt; the hammer head is heavy enough to shatter a side window. Includes a safety mount and a high-visibility luminous marker.
- Road Flares – For years, phosphorus railroad-style flares were standard equipment in trucker’s emergency kits. Like so many other things, those road flares have been superseded by technology. We offer a couple of styles of battery-powered road flares, including a blinking LED beacon and blinking red LED flares that stand upright and are visible day or night, from land or air.
- First Aid Kit – This one definitely falls into the category of “better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.” It’s a comprehensive first aid kit with burn cream, antiseptic ointment, bandages, gauze, tape, rubber gloves and more, all in a compact, water-resistant red nylon case.
